The President of Jubaland, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, stated that all the resolutions and decisions emerging from the Somali Consultative Conference (Aayo-ka-tashiga), successfully concluded today in Kismayo, will be fully implemented.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, the President emphasized that the agreements reached during the conference will serve as a foundation for strengthening national consultation, reinforcing the unity of the Somali people, and guiding the country’s future political direction.
Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam also stressed that the Jubaland Government is always ready to host national conferences addressing the country’s destiny, unity, and development, highlighting that dialogue and consensus are key to overcoming current political challenges.
Finally, the President expressed his gratitude to all participants for their contributions to the success of the conference, underlining that the outcomes reflect the aspirations and interests of the Somali people.
