The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has disclosed that although progress is being made in peace negotiations with the United States, both nations remain far from reaching the final stages of a definitive agreement to end the conflict.
As a key representative for Iran in these discussions, Ghalibaf traveled to Pakistan last week, where he held high-level meetings with a U.S. delegation that included Vice President JD Vance. While these talks in Pakistan represent a significant step toward seeking a peaceful resolution, a formal date for the next round of negotiations has yet to be scheduled, indicating that the diplomatic process remains in a delicate stage.
